Track & Field

Track and Field Info 2024


Practice: Mondays - Thursdays 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM


Meets: Start at 3:30 PM for field events, 3:45 PM for track events

  • Wednesday, April 24th @ Prospect High School
  • Wednesday, May 1st @ Prospect High School
  • Wednesday, May 8th @ Prospect High School

League Finals: May 14th and 16th @ Westmont High School

→ Track meets typically last several hours depending on what events students are participating in, so plan accordingly for weather/food & drink

Order of Track Events:

  • 1600 (Mile) - 6G, 7G, 8G, 6B, 7B, 8B
  • Hurdles- 6G, 7G, 8G, 6B, 7B, 8B
  • 4 x 100 Relay
  • 800 meter- 6G, 7G, 8G, 6B, 7B, 8B
  • 100 meter- 6G, 7G, 8G, 6B, 7B, 8B
  • 4 x 400 Relay

Field Events: Sign up starts at 3:30, events begin at 3:45. Check with sign-up coach for what the order of grade/gender is for your event. List of events:

  • High jump
  • Long jump
  • Triple jump
  • Shot put
  • Discus

If you want to join the Track and Field team this year, please remember to do the following:

  1. Fill out the Google Form (Due April 5th)
  2. Sign up on Eleyo (Due April 5th) 

- Click on Track & Field

- Enroll Now

- Create a login (if you haven't done sports with MMS before)

- Choose the student who is participating

- Read & Accept Terms and Conditions

- Read & Initial informational sections

- You'll be prompted to select a donation amount. This donation helps us hire and retain quality coaches, buy new equipment, and maintain the event arenas. If you are unable to donate at this time, please contact Ashley Benjamin at [email protected]

 
  1. Turn in the Grade Check Form & signed Athlete's Pledge to the office (April 15th)
