Dances
Friday night dances allow students to listen to music, eat, enjoy their friends, dance, and have fun! Dance stickers can be purchased for $5 with a student body card prior to the dance. Tickets are sold in advance only, and school ID cards with a sticker are required for entry into the dance. At the conclusion of the dance, parents must be present to pick up their student(s).
Lunch Clubs
Every day, we offer a selection of lunch clubs, including Art, Greenkeepers, Table Tennis, GSA, Diversity and Equity, Homework Club, Pokémon, Chess etc. Lunch clubs are subject to student interest and may change each year. See here for a look at last year's lunch clubs. We recognize and promote our student’s passions and encourage Mustangs to suggest club themes. Every idea is appreciated.
Lunchtime Fun
In addition to lunch clubs, we also offer intramurals. We offer daily opportunities to play soccer, volleyball, and flag football. We also host special competitions, such as pickleball tournaments or staff versus student basketball games. Students also have the opportunity to check out sports equipment and socialize with friends in comfortable green spaces. The library and Wellness Center are both open daily.
Red Ribbon Week
The school counselors plan special activities promoting a substance-free, healthy lifestyle.
Spirit Days and Rallies
Everybody likes prizes and fun, and students will have lots of opportunities to participate in contests and show school spirit all year long.
8TH Grade End-Of-Year Field Trip and Dance
Eighth graders who meet behavior requirements are invited to attend an end-of-the-year activity and a fun parent-sponsored dance.
Honor Roll Field Trip
We recognize Mustangs our kids who demonstrate academic excellence. We recognize their dedication by taking them on a trip away from campus. Passed trips have included going to the movies, bowling, and roller skating.
