MMS students will be taking the CAASPP assessment during the following window: May 6th thru May 17th. All students will be testing from 9:30-10:55am. Additionally, 8th grade students will take a science test May 20th thru 24th during their science classes. It is especially important for students to be at school during this time. Please do not schedule any appointments or vacations during this time period.

Permission slips and money for the 8th Grade Great America trip are due by 4pm on Wednesday, May 1st.

Our fearless students have been rehearsing since January and are ready to knock your socks off! All ages will delight in the magic of Dr. Seuss books brought to life. Performances will be held Friday, April 26th at 6pm and Saturday, April 27th at 2pm and 5pm. All performances will be held at the Moreland Community Gym. The annual Moreland Middle Science Expo will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the MMS cafeteria. This is an opportunity for students to showcase their science skills. There are five categories: Science Experiment, Science Research Project, Bridge-building, Tower-building, and the Catapult. All grade levels are invited to join. It's going to be an interesting and entertaining evening, so we hope to see you there!

Boys' and Girls' Track & Field begins Monday, April 1st at 2:30pm on the track/blacktop. No experience is needed, but don't forget a positive attitude is necessary!

Does your child need help with homework? We can help! On Mondays, we offer homework help at lunch in D4. On Tuesdays, homework help is available at Starbird Youth Center (1050 Boynton Ave. in San Jose) with Miss Song from 3:00-4:00. On Thursdays, homework help is available from 7:30-7:55am in Room E2.
