There will be no school on Monday, January 20th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

There will be no school during winter break (December 23 - January 3). School will resume Monday, January 6th.

Our Lost & Found is growing! Please be sure to check our Lost & Found (right outside of the office) for lost clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, and more. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Friday, December 20th. Thank you!

School will be dismissed at noon on Friday, December 20th.

Athletes who participated in the Fall Sports: cross country, girls' soccer, boys' volleyball, and girls' basketball are invited to the Sports in Moreland Fall Sports Banquet with their families. The event will be held in the Community Center Gym on 12/19 from 5:30-7pm. A light dinner will be served from 5:30-6pm and awards will follow from 6-7pm.

MMS and Starting Arts presents Guys and Dolls Jr. starting January 15, 2020.
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays (1:30-3pm) in C3 & Fridays (2:30-4pm) in the MU Room (no rehearsals over February Break & Spring Break). Performances will be held on April 17 & 18. Boys' basketball tryouts will begin Monday, December 16th at 2:30 in the Community Center Gym.

Monday: Buddy Grams - Come by the JK wing @ lunch to make a friend a buddy gram! Tuesday: Trash Pickup - Meet in the JK Wing @ lunch to help pick up trash.
Wednesday: Welcome Wednesday in front of the school. Thursday: Kindness Tree & Wall - Come by the F building @ lunch to help decorate the Kindness Tree and take a photo in front of the "Kind" Wall. Friday: Rally - Wear yellow (6th), white (7th), & black (8th) to the rally!

Sacred Heart is giving out gifts to 6,200 children this holiday season, and they can’t do it without our help! MMS is collecting for the toy drive through Friday, December 13th. Students may drop off their new and unwrapped gifts before school near the front gate. Students' names will be entered into a drawing for each gift donated. Thank you so much for spreading the joy this holiday season!

The Scripps National Spelling Bee is coming! All students are invited to participate in the round 1, written competition. The written portion will be held at lunch on Thursday, December 5th (6th/7th grades in room C4, and 8th grade in room E2). This round is for students only. The final oral spelling bee will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 6-8 PM. 6th grade will be in room 103, 7th in 102, and 8th in the library. Study words are available in the office.
