Tuesday, June 11th is the last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. Our Promotion Ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, June 11th eighth graders will participate in the MMS Promotion Ceremony at 4:00 p.m. in the Mustang quad. Students must report back to MMS by 3:30 pm. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Gates will open at 3:00 p.m. and seating will be on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Unless a person is physically sitting in a chair, it will be considered an "open" seat.

Pre-ordered yearbooks were distributed Wednesday, June 5th. Beginning Thursday, June 6th, we will sell any extra yearbooks. The 8th graders will have first choice and then we will open it up to the rest of the student body. Yearbooks will cost $45.00 (cash only - no checks).

Show your school spirit during the week of May 28th! Tuesday is Class Color Day (6th graders wear yellow, 7th graders wear white, and 8th graders wear black), Wednesday is Hawaiian Day, Thursday is Shades Day, and Friday is Fitness Day.

Our 8th grade Promotion Dance is this Friday, May 31st from 6:30-9pm. This is going to be a special and memorable night for our 8th graders….but we need your help! Please sign up to help or donate food by clicking on the headline above. Thank you in advance for your help!

Athletes that participated in Boys' Basketball, Girls' Volleyball, Boys' Soccer, and Track & Field will be honored at the Spring Sports Banquet on Thursday, May 30th. The banquet will take place in the Gym/MU courtyard at MMS from 5:30-7:00pm. A light dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00pm (awards to follow around 6pm). Parents and siblings are welcome, and there's no RSVP needed. Show your Mustang Pride by wearing gold and black!

In honor of Memorial Day, there will be no school on Monday, May 27th. School is dismissed at the regular time (2:20pm) on Friday, May 24th.

The Moreland Middle School Home and School Club would like to invite all incoming parents and current parents to join us at our next Home and School Club Meeting. This is a great opportunity to meet the current H&SC board and see how you can get involved at MMS. Our meeting is Tuesday, May 21st from 8:30-10:00am in the MMS Library. Coffee and treats will be served!
