This Friday, November 1st is a Teacher Work Day, and there will be no school for students.

Halloween is Thursday, October 31st, and dismissal time is 2:20pm. Students are welcome to dress in costumes on this day. Costumes must still follow the rules for our school dress codes. Students may not wear masks or have fake weapons. Costumes that depict violence or gore are not allowed.

Our first dance of the year will be held on Friday, October 25th from 5-7pm in the Community Center Gym. Tickets will be sold for $5.00 at lunch and after school on 10/23 and 10/24 (and during lunch only on 10/25). Parents must enter the dance in order to pick up their child at the end of the dance.

Our Lost & Found is growing! Please be sure to check our Lost & Found (right outside of the office) for lost clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, and more. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Friday, October 18th. Thank you!

Please join us for our Home & School Club meeting on Friday, October 11th at 8:30am in the MMS library. The Superintendent of CUHSD, Dr. Robert Bravo, will present an overview of the high school district plus the district's accomplishments and challenges.

There will be no school on Friday, October 4th due to a Staff Development Day.
