MMS will teach comprehensive sexual health education during 7th grade science classes between November 29 and December 17, 2021. This course uses up-to-date and medically accurate health information to address many of the health issues students face, or may face, in their lifetime. Moreland has adopted Positive Prevention Plus aligned with CA Education Code 51933 and the California Healthy Youth Act (AB 329). Parents may examine written instructional materials during school hours. There will be no school on Thursday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day, and there will be no school on Friday, November 12th due to a teacher workday.

Our Lost & Found is overflowing! We have a lot of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, and much more! Please ask your child to check our Lost & Found for any missing items. Our Lost & Found is kept right outside of the office. Any unclaimed items will be donated on Wednesday, November 10th.

The Moreland Middle Home and School Club (MMH&SC) is made up of parents, teachers, and staff dedicated to the educational success of our children. We provide volunteers and raise funds in many important areas that enrich every child’s learning experience at MMS. Our annual Donation Drive has started!
