MMS will have three 5th grade parent tours (March 1, March 8, and March 14).
All tours start at 8:30. Check in will be outside of the school office. This tour is for parents only and generally lasts an hour. All participants must wear a mask on campus, and complete an online guest health form (which will be emailed closer to your tour date). Presidents' Week is February 21 - 25, and there will be no school. Students will be dismissed at 1:10pm on Friday, February 18.

There will be a staff development day on Friday, February 4. There will be no school for our Moreland Mustangs.

There will be no school on Monday, January 17th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

There will be no school during winter break (December 20th through December 31st). School will resume on Monday, January 3rd. Have a safe and happy holiday!

School will be dismissed at 1:10pm on the following days due to conferences: November 15, 16, 18, 19, 29 and 30 (school is dismissed at the regular time of 1:20pm on Wednesday, November 17).

Our Thanksgiving Break will be November 22 - 26, and there will be no school. Have a safe and happy holiday!

MMS will teach comprehensive sexual health education during 7th grade science classes between November 29 and December 17, 2021. This course uses up-to-date and medically accurate health information to address many of the health issues students face, or may face, in their lifetime. Moreland has adopted Positive Prevention Plus aligned with CA Education Code 51933 and the California Healthy Youth Act (AB 329). Parents may examine written instructional materials during school hours. There will be no school on Thursday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day, and there will be no school on Friday, November 12th due to a teacher workday.

Our Lost & Found is overflowing! We have a lot of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, and much more! Please ask your child to check our Lost & Found for any missing items. Our Lost & Found is kept right outside of the office. Any unclaimed items will be donated on Wednesday, November 10th.
