We are so excited to celebrate the Moreland Middle School Class of 2026 at our Promotion Ceremony on Friday, June 5th at 10:30 a.m. Please review the important reminders below to help make the event smooth and enjoyable for everyone:
Promotion Day

No backpacks or personal belongings: Students will not return to classrooms after the ceremony, so they should not bring any belongings to school on Friday.

Break before promotion: On Friday morning, students will have a break before the ceremony. The cafeteria will serve brunch, including food and drinks.
Ceremony Reminders

Due to the promotion activity, we will not be able to handle checking out of students past 10:00 am. If you plan to check out a younger sibling so they can attend the promotion, you must do this before 10:00 am. Parents will not be allowed to walk through the campus to get to the ceremony. If you do come to check out a student past 10:00 am, please know that it will take a good period of time for the office staff to get students to the office for pick up. Please plan accordingly.

Noise-makers, balloons, and confetti are not permitted. These items can block the view of others and take away from the dignity of the celebration. We ask for your support in keeping the event respectful and our campus clean.

Gates will open at 10:00 a.m.

One gate will be located at the District Office Enrollment Center on Fallbrook Avenue.

The second gate will be on Castro Drive.
