The annual Moreland Middle Science Expo will be held on Thursday, March 30th from 6:30 - 8:30pm. This is an opportunity for students to showcase their science skills. There are five categories: Science Experiment, Science Research Project, Bridge-building, Tower-building, and the Catapult. All grade levels are invited to join.

The Moreland Comedy Players present William Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors" Wednesday, March 22nd and Thursday, March 23rd at 7pm in room C-3. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased in room C-2 during break or lunch or at the door.

The Moreland School District invites you to learn more about the curriculum, to review the class materials, and to hear from the health experts during two parent information meetings. Both events will be held at the Moreland Community Center, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on the following dates and topics:
Wednesday, March 1st: Comprehensive Sexuality Education & Positive Prevention Plus Curriculum Overview (parents will receive an overview of the state law, walk through of lessons, and have the opportunity to talk to a Positive Prevention Plus curriculum specialist). Thursday, March 23rd: Creating Ongoing Dialogue on Sexual Health with Your Child at Any Age & Stage (parents will learn about the social and emotional needs of teens and learn how to establish a healthy dialogue with their children as they become fully literate about a variety of sexual health topics).

The MMS Jazz Ensemble scored a "superior" rating at the "California Association for Music Education Jazz Festival" held at Santa Teresa High School. After performing with over 20 school jazz ensembles throughout the region, the MMS musicians, led by Music Teacher Greg Bergantz, learned of their ratings through the performance judges score sheet. Congratulations to our musicians!
