Our Winter Concert will be held this Thursday, December 6th at 7pm in the Community Center Gym. We hope to see you there!

During Teacher-Parent-Student conferences, students will be dismissed at 1:10pm on the following days: November 15, 16, 26, 27, 29, 30. On Wed., Nov 28, students will be dismissed at the usual time of 1:20pm. Homework Centers will be cancelled during conference days.

There will be no school Monday, November 19th through Friday, November 23rd. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Moreland's annual Second Harvest Food Drive will be held from Wednesday, October 24 through Wednesday, November 14. You CAN make a difference! Please send your donations of nutritious, non-perishable canned or boxed food (soup, chili, tuna, vegetables, fruit, etc.) with our child to bring to their science class. Thanks for your support!

There will be no school on Friday, November 9th (Teacher Work Day) and Monday, November 12th (Veteran´s Day).

The Scholastic Book Fair will take place in the Library from Monday, October 29th to Friday, November 2nd. Come and help support our library! The Book Fair is open at lunch (M, T, Th, F: 12:07-12:47), and 11:24-12:04 on Wednesdays. After school, the Book Fair is open 2:20-3:30 (1:20-2:30 on Wednesdays).

Show your school spirit during the week of October 22nd! Monday is Denim Day, Tuesday is Lazy/Comfy Day, Wednesday is Silly Sock Day, Thursday is Sports Day and Friday is Formal Day.

Our first dance of the year is scheduled for Friday, October 26th in the Community Center Gym from 5-7pm. Students are encouraged to dress up in costumes (school dress code rules still apply) and there will be a costume contest during the dance. Tickets are on sale for $5 during the week of the dance (students must have their ID card). Tickets are sold during lunch Wed., Thurs and Fri and after school on Wed and Thurs). Students can be dropped off at 4:45pm at the CC Gym. In order to pick up your child, you must enter the gym. We are looking for parents to chaperone the dance and to provide snacks for the students to enjoy during the dance. Click on the headline above to learn how to sign up to help.
