Our 8th grade students received permission slips for our annual 8th grade trip to Great America on June 5th. Permission slips and money are due to the office by Wednesday, May 2nd at 4:00pm.

Open House at MMS is Thursday, April 19th! Students will be dismissed from school at 1:10. The classrooms will be open from 6:30-7:30. We encourage everyone to visit our classrooms!

MEF was founded in August 1993, and from the beginning, they have provided critical financial support for all the Moreland District Schools. Your child recently received an MEF brochure at school. Please ask them for it! Donations can be made by visiting mefhome.org. Thank you for your continued support!

Practice will begin Thursday, March 29th. Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:30-4:00 and Wednesday from 1:30-3:00. The student calendar for the 2018-2019 has been released. The first day of school will be Thursday, August 16th.

Honor roll trips to Saratoga AMC to see Sherlock Gnomes will be on March 26th (6th grade), March 27th (7th grade), and March 29th (8th grade). Permission slips are available in the office. Permission slips and $7.00 entrance fee are due in the office no later than Tuesday, March 20th.

Send your 8th grader off to high school with a sweet message and a baby/childhood photo! Cost is $25. Also, it's a tradition for 8th graders to submit their favorite quotes for the yearbook (no cost, but parent approval is needed). Print the form for the baby/childhood ad and/or quote. The completed form must be turned into the office by Thursday, March 8th!

Heart & Sole is Girls on the Run of Silicon Valley’s middle school program. It is a life-changing, after-school program for girls in 6th-8th grades. Girls learn life skills such as healthy decision-making, teamwork and confidence while training for a 5K!
The season starts the week of March 5th. Our team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 at MMS.
