The school champion will move on to the Written Semi-Final Spelling Bee at the Lawrence Hall of Science, Berkeley, on February 10th. The Regional Finals will be held at the KPIX TV Studios in San Francisco on March 17th.

 

Students are encouraged to obtain the official Scripps National Spelling Bee list to study from in advance of the competition.  The words from this list are taken from the Merriam-Webster's Unabridged Dictionary.  The Sripps National Spelling Bee also offers the following link to help prepare for the Finals:
